Both security core units and the one first aid unit listed below are part of the licensing and legal requirements for the use of empty hand techniques and tactical force procedures by persons working in the security industry. As such we offer this combined course to help professionals save time and costs keeping their occupational training up to national standards.
Assessment of competency consists of 2 pre-class workbooks as well as progressive practical tasks using industry equipment.

Participants who demonstrate competency by passing both the theory and practical assessments will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by APS Training Group in CPPSEC3002A, CPPSEC3013A that is valid for 3 years (renewed every 36 months).
Specific licensing requirements relating to this competency should be checked with your relevant state security industry authority.
Students must hold a Certificate II or III in Security Operations.
Participants should possess adequate (Year 10 level) reading, writing, numeracy and comprehension skills to complete learning and assessment activities.
