Provide (CPR) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation–HLTAID009

At APS Training, we believe knowing effective, life-saving CPR is essential for not only those in high-risk occupations, but the general population at large. Everyone in their life at some point should undertake a nationally accredited program to ensure they are prepared for any scenario.

CPR techniques and training procedures change frequently. This course is current to government standards and supersedes HLTAID001

This course provides attendees with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergency situations, perform CPR procedures, contact emergency response teams, asses risks in the immediate vicinity and effectively communicate the relevant details of an incident.

Most of HLTAID009—the theory component—can be completed online, however the final practical assessment must be conducted at APS Bundaberg or on-site at your workplace if arranged beforehand with our staff. Participants must show they are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on an adult CPR manikin placed on the floor.
