Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) QLD–CPCWHS1001

One of the most essential and popular nationally accredited courses offered by our assessors at APS Training Group, is for the construction industry’s White Card.

The Australian White Card training program was designed to ensure all active construction workers—and any tradespeople employed on construction sites—abide by the National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work, which has been declared by Safe Work Australia.

Participants will gain basic knowledge of relevant Work Health & Safety (WHS) obligations and requirements, construction hazards and control measures, risk management, communication and reporting processes and incident response procedures.

The course is broken down into a number of modules, each consisting of a presentation of theory and an assessment.

Participants who demonstrate competency by passing both the theory and practical assessments will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by APS Training Group.  You will also receive your White Card in person.

There are no official prerequisites for this course.
Participants should possess adequate reading, writing, numeracy and comprehension skills (level 1) to complete learning and assessment activities.
You will need access to a hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility clothing and ear plugs/muffs, as well as a webcam and a form of photo-identification if completing this course online.
